Gather round your Christmas gifts
I tell a tale of how I had to replace St. Nicholas
See I was setting his cookies out
The frosting was art
Heard a loud crash
And I saw his sleigh parked in the yard
I was about to wake the kids up
Magic on Christmas eve
Plus they were disappointed it hadn't snowed in a week
But when I snuck out of the back door
And Got a look at the scene ....quick
He didn't look good
And I knew I had to keep it a secret
I asked him could he walk
And he said to call Mrs. Clause
I helped him in the Garage
He knew exactly who I was
See first he slipped off of the roof
Tore his knee up
Said
He needed to find a replacement that was still a believer
He said you been on the nice list
Ever Since I can remember
You continue to spread love all year
Not just December
Said You're perfect for the job
we wear the same size magic boots
But there's no way I could ever get you to fit this suit
So he wiggled his nose
Conjured up custom wardrobe

And jump over one of the elfs heads
Catch it before it touches the ground

Winter in Michigan
Started writing my letter to Santa but never finished it
Inclement weather shall bring us closer together
